My name is Jason Iverson, and I'm a web and application development enthusiast! For over 17 years I've been fascinated with computers, the internet, and technology in general.
I'm fortunate to work for the Sacramento County Office of Education in the Internet and Media Services department, as it has afforded the opportunity to apply my technical skills in a manner that will enrich other's lives. Developing web technologies that help people learn is much more rewarding than developing web technologies that make someone else a hefty paycheck.
Working at the Sacramento County Office of Education, I've recently had the privilege to rewrite and modernize the USA Learns website. Prior to that, I was also involved in the rewrite of the TEACH California website.
For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to be my own boss. I've always aspired to be self-employed, but to date have yet to accomplish this dream.
I have, however, been fortunate enough to gain employment developing software in various industries. From homebuilding, to transportation, to public utility and agricultural billing systems. I've worked in a variety of industries, and grown to understand them well.
With my technical and business education background, and my professional experience in business and technology, I feel I am in a great position to help small business owners of all sorts: the self-employed, entrepreneurs, bloggers, manufacturers, brick and mortar stores, service industry professionals, and anybody else that employs themselves and others!
I have invested a lot of time and energy into this website to make it a useful resources for small business owners. I hope that you've found it to be helpful and will share it with your friends and family.
